The invention relates to 1-aryl-4-chloro-1H-imidazole-5-carbaldehydes of general formula I:, Iwherein Ar = Ph, 2-MeCH, 4-СlСН, 4-ВrСН, 4-МеСН, 4-МеОСН, 2,5-МеСН, 1-naphthyl, as well as to a process for the preparation thereof which consists in that 2-(arylamino)acetamides are subjected to interaction with mixture of dimethylformamide and phosphorus oxychloride at ratio of 1:2 at 85-95 °Сwith subsequent isolation of desired products by conventional methods. |
