An ice bulb shape provides the shape of leading portion of the ship capable of maintaining the maximum performance regardless of the sailing area. An ice bulb shape comprises as follows. The ship has the form in which the top of leading bulb is exposed higher than the free design/scantling draft. The size of the angular in which the tangent line and central line of the top maximum load water line form is between the minimum 15 degree and the maximum 20 degree. The size of the angular in which the tangent line and center line of the lower part minimum draft form is between the minimum 25 degree and the maximum 35 degree. The size of the contingent angle on the leading profile meeting with the top maximum load water line is between the minimum 30 degree and the maximum 65 degree.
