In a dismantlable storage tank comprising a plastics ground sheet 4, a metal base ring 1 of bolted segments end wall segments 2 which carry a roof construction 5, 6, 7 and have framing bars of substantially square cross-section, the wall and base segments are interconnected with the interposition of packing by means of clamp bolts, see also Figs. 2, 3 and 4 (not shown) for details of said joints. The wall segments are of tongue and groove construction and have bosses 8 to which the plastics roof sheeting 7 is secured. The roof frame work 5, 6 is centrally supported on a tripod 11 resting on support plates 10. For method of erection and minor details the Specification should be referred to. |
