A permanent magnet embedded type electric motor is provided to prevent sudden magnetic flux change in a teeth portion when the pole portion is entered into the teeth portion or breaks away from the teeth portion and make that the waveform of induced voltage induced in coil consists of sine. A permanent magnet embedded type electric motor comprises: a teeth portion(120) in which coil is rolled; a rotor core(140) in which the permanent magnet is installed at inside; a stepped part(130) which is developed at the end part of the teeth portion and which has a plurality of stepped sides; and a protrusion(150) having a plurality of projection surfaces on the domain corresponding to the permanent magnet among the outer circumference of the rotor core. The protrusion and stepped part are separated each other with distance for preventing magnetic flux saturation generation in the teeth portion.
