A management system for the calculating the food intake and excretion of each patient and a method thereof are provided to measure and collect the data as to the food intake and excretion of a patient through wireless communication. A management system for the calculating the food intake and excretion of each patient includes a data collecting unit(11) and a data communication unit(31). Wireless sub slaves(13,33) include a pressure sensor(12) and a weight sensor(32) which measure the weight of food. An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) reader(20) reads out the information recorded at an RFID tag attached to a container, and an excretion measurement device(30) measures the excretion amount of a patient. A master(40) transmits a signal from the wireless sub slaves to a main computer(50).
