UPPER SUBSTRATE OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An upper plate of a liquid crystal display and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the increase of resistance due to the crack generation during the bending process by forming a common electrode using nano metal or nano carbon material instead of ITO. A plurality of pixels are formed on a lower substrate(100). A color filter(130) is formed on a base substrate(110). A thin film transistor(210) comprises a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. The gate electrode is connected to the gate line, and the source electrode is connected to the data line. The drain electrode is connected to a pixel electrode(230). The pixel electrode is formed independently to be overlapped with the RGB color filters.
