FIELD: medicine; surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: after a pneumonectomy stage on a site from the 4th intercostal space to level of cupula of the diaphragm partially exsect costal pleura. From 4th intercostal space apical to the aperture of a pleural cavity separate costal pleura, taking away thus the top share of lung from top to bottom. Then stack the separated costal pleura on mediastinal pleura above a root of lung without a leaf tension of the costal pleura with the subsequent bracing of the separated pleura site to mediastinal pleura over a lung root. In the top departments of the separated pleura leaf form an aperture in diameter of 1-2 cm, bringing an additional drainage to it. ^ EFFECT: exception of postoperative relapses of a spontaneous pheumothorax due to strengthening of visceral pleura in mediastinal departments of lung. ^ 3 ex, 1 dwg
