AUTO POSITIONING BONE MINERAL DENSITY MEASURE SYSTEM AND THE METHOD THEREOF

An auto positioning bone density measurement system and a measuring method thereof are provided to obtain reliable measurement result by controlling a position set for measuring the bone density of a patient. An auto positioning bone density measurement system(100) includes a bone density measurement device(110), a main terminal(120), a display unit(130), a main terminal operating unit(140). The bone density measurement device sets the position for measuring the bone mineral density for one part or more of the body part of a subject. The bone density measurement device successively measures the bone density according to the order chosen based on the set position. The main terminal calculates the extraction of a bone image of the subject and a bone density value by using the measured bone density data. If the stored each position is adjusted from the main terminal operation unit, the main terminal sets each position again at the adjusted position. The display unit indicates the bone image extracted from the main terminal.
