<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a driving gear for a vehicle capable of controlling the revolution of engine revolving speed in the condition where the bad influence is not given to the durability of the bearing of the first element, although the revolution of the first element is controlled or the engine brake power is enlarged during deceleration running. <P>SOLUTION: A switching control means 50 makes the power distribution mechanism 16 in the lock condition by a switching clutch C0 when the output shaft revolving speed N<SB>IN</SB>of the power distribution mechanism (differential gear device) 16 becomes more than the fixed value A at the time of deceleration running of the vehicle and the power distribution mechanism 16 makes the differential gearing condition by the switching clutch C0 when the output shaft revolving speed N<SB>IN</SB>of the power distribution mechanism 16 becomes less than the fixed value A.
