FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to toothed gearing or gear boxes with continuously varying gear ratio between input and output. The proposed gearing comprises bearing support 10 wherein runs the first shaft 16, a helical rack 18 with a number of toothed turns 18a spaced apart along the said first shaft. The diameters of the said turns are selected proceeding from the condition of forming, by the said turns, a false taper envelope surface 20 surrounding the first shaft. Second shaft 26 runs parallel to the said envelope surface 20. Gear wheel 32 is fitted on the second shaft 26 to run coupled with it and features the teeth to get into mesh with the teeth of rack 18. It can also slide along the second shaft 26 to come into whatever position on rack 18. Note that is incorporates also two gears 64a, 64b arranged to turn through a minor angle relative both to shaft 26 and to each other. The proposed gearing is furnished also with flexible tools to shift gears 64a and 64b relative to each other and to level up their teeth. ^ EFFECT: simplified design. ^ 9 cl, 5 dwg |
