The pillar (1) has a sealing joint (3) assembled in a groove by a clipping type connection and including a tubular part above a connection unit. Another sealing joint (4) is provided on periphery of the pillar at the level of an end (14) of the pillar. The groove is formed in an outer panel and is positioned nearer to another end (13) that is oriented towards a glass surface i.e. rear window (2), of the panel. A hollow zone (5) receives a stabilizer (6) for actuating opening or closing of the glass surface.
