<p>The method involves winding a plastic film (F) on a rigid tubular support (1) i.e. rolling tube, temporarily acting as a winding spool, where the support is made of non deformable rigid material e.g. steel. The support is subjected to action of a pneumatic cylinder having a piston head cooperated with an end of the support in a sealed manner, to eject the support in combination with the transmission of compressed air for creating air cushion at external periphery of the support to form a jumbo reel (B) without the spool. The support is reintroduced in a winding machine to proceed next rolling. An independent claim is also included for a device for winding a plastic film to make a reel.</p> |
