Polyurethane hard foam production involves converting polyisocyanate with a compound, which has two isocyanate groups reactive with hydrogen atoms in presence of a propellant. The compound having two isocyanate groups contains a polyester alcohol, which is produced from an aliphatic, two functional carboxylic acid and alcohol, a vegetable oil or a fatty acid.
