A mixer and a method for suppressing harmonic are provided to reduce mismatch of a coefficient unit by using a plurality of capacitors and a plurality of reference signals generated by sampling a frequency selected by a user as much as the predetermined multiple. A harmonic suppression mixer(100) includes a mixer unit(110), and a coefficient unit(120). The mixer unit mixes a first input signal and a plurality of reference signals generated in a reference signal generating unit(200) and outputs a plurality of mixed output signals. The coefficient unit stores a plurality of mixed signals outputted in the mixer unit in a plurality of capacitors. The coefficient unit couples the plurality of signals stored based on the reference signal generated in the reference signal generating unit according to a channel signal. The coefficient unit outputs the coupled I channel signal and Q channel signal.
