METHOD FOR SURGICAL ABLATION OF CRANIOBASAL MENINGIOMA IN THE AREA OF POSTERIOR CRANIAL FOSSA

A method for surgical ablation of craniobasal meningioma in the area of posterior cranial fossa is characterized that after the performing of MRT in the special conditions the probable histostructure and growth character of extracerebral tumour are determined. After that the proper intraoperative tactic of oncotomy is selected in accordance with the histostructure variants: at a fibroblastic variant and expansive growth the ablation is carried out from a center to the periphery with the subsequent ablation of capsule, at a meningotelial variant and enwrapping type of growth the ablation is carried out fragmently with a selection and isolation of neurovascular structures by stages.
