<p>An electrical connector (A) comprises first and second connectors (1,2) connectable to each other in a predetermined connecting direction (Z). The first connector (1) comprises a housing (3), a plurality of contacts (10,11) supported by the housing (3), and a metal reinforcement member (21) fixed to the housing (3). The reinforcement member (21) is engageable with an engagement groove (26) of the second connector (2). The reinforcement member (21) includes a pair of engagement projections (25). The first and second connectors (1,2) are permitted to be offset from each other in a direction (X) intersecting the connecting direction (Z) and guided with respect to each other for connection thereof when the engagement projections (25) are introduced into the engagement groove (26).</p> |
