A scroll compressor is provided to simplify machining thereof, and improve sealing effect in a simple structure. A sealing element(70) is seals a space of a peripheral part of a main bearing and a back pressure chamber formed at a rear surface part of a base plate of an orbiting scroll(20). A sealing element securing part is mounted on a top surface of a frame(30) to face an end surface of an orbiting boss part(23) of the orbiting scroll, into which a main shaft is inserted. A supporting element(80) disposes the sealing element to the sealing element securing part, and has a supporting part(80a) for supporting the sealing element and an elastic part making the sealing element contact the rear surface part of the orbiting base plate. |
