A method of increasing the duration of the operation of welded conductor bond, at which the conductor bond is fixed between the components of rails. Before welding the bond is oriented in such a way that the stress action at displacement of rails relative to each other during passage of the wheels of rolling stock in the near-cup area of the conductor bond is of tangential nature.
