A method for controlling the defrost operation of a food storage container is provided to allow defrost to be carried out uniformly by starting the defrost operation after the operation of a compressor is terminated. A method for controlling the defrost operation of a food storage container comprises the steps of (S5) determining whether a compressor is operated or not; and (S7) changing the operation starting time of defrost operation according to the determined result, wherein the defrost operation starts after the operation is terminated if the compressor is operated, and the operation starting time of defrost operation is delayed after the operation of the compressor is terminated. |
