An automatic sensor device for a portable phone is provided to change the current mode of the phone into a manner mode automatically, in case the back side of the phone is placed so as to be shown by using the gravity, while changing the current mode into a bell sound mode in case the front is placed so as to be shown. In case the front side of a portable terminal is put so as to be shown, the third and fourth sensors come in contact with the mercury to convert the current state of the terminal into a bell sound state automatically. If the back side of the terminal is put so as to be shown, the mercury comes in contact with the first and second sensors by the gravity to convert the current state of the terminal into a manner mode.
