A portable terminal and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to connect to plural internet services by using one hot key, and search address information of the corresponding internet services in a memory unit. A portable terminal comprises the followings: a key input unit(100) which includes at least one hot key for displaying the names of plural connectable Internet services; a memory unit(300) which stores the address information of connectable Internet services by using the hot key; a controller(500) which connects the terminal to the Internet services corresponding to the inputted hot key; and a display unit(900) showing the information about a key inputted through the key input unit on the screen of the portable terminal.
