A curing resin for a putty, and a UV curing putty composition containing the resin are provided to improve the adhesion with an automobile exterior material, polishing property, workability and curing property. A curing resin for a putty comprises 37.5~80 wt% of a urethane (meta)acrylate prepolymer which is formed by copolymerizing 20~30 wt% of a diisocyanate compound, 15~25 wt% of a multifunctional compound, 25~45 wt% of a polyol, and 10~25 wt% of a (meth)acrylate containing a hydroxyl group; and 20~62.5 wt% of a (meth)acrylate monomer. Preferably the urethane (meta)acrylate prepolymer has a weight average molecular weight of 2,000-6,000 and an average urethane bond per a molecule of 5-17.
