摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The device has a Bragg network formed on an optical fiber (2) that includes a mechanical protection sheath made of polyimide material. A cover (13) covers the optical fiber and comprises thermosetting matrix composite materials constituting an electrical insulating piece i.e. wall (1). Another Bragg network is formed in a fiber portion that is covered with elastomer layer. The thickness of the elastomer layer is 0.005 and 0.7 times the diameter of the optical fiber. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating an integrated deformation monitoring device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Integrated device for monitoring deformation of an electrical insulating piece e.g. wall, of an electrical installation e.g. enclosure (all claimed), electrical case or shell containing electrical components e.g. circuit-breaker, disconnector or solenoid switch, subjected to mechanical constraints generated by heat through electrical components, pressure variations of cutting gas e.g. sulfur hexafluoride, plastification of electrical insulating material due to high ambient humidity rate and variations of environmental conditions, in low or average voltage electrotechnical applications. Can also be used for insulating transformers and wind turbine installation. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The mechanical protection sheath of the fiber is made of polyimide material ensures better thermal endurance during fabrication of the piece and integrated device, thus increasing life duration of the device to twenty five years. The device improves reliability of the electrical installations, and ensures local or remote monitoring. The device does not generate electromagnetic phenomenon, thus preventing impact on operation of the electrical components. The device is small in size and easily integrated in the insulating piece. The piece is made of thermosetting matrix composite materials, thus obtaining better mechanical strength, dielectric strength, fire resistance and integration level.
