A method for preparing insam (ginseng) steamed red is provided to increase the efficient component of insam steamed red, to reduce the manufacturing process and to inhibit the generation of crack during steaming process. A method for preparing insam steamed red comprises the steps of injecting carbon dioxide gas into a steamer, thereby increasing the efficient component by the carbonic acid generated by the reaction of water and carbon dioxide gas. Preferably the concentration (pressure) of carbon dioxide gas is controlled as the steaming step. |
