PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrench capable of rotating a member to be tightened in the same direction in both forward and return paths when the wrench is rotated by reciprocating the handles. SOLUTION: This wrench 1 comprises: a sun gear 3 rotated integrally with a rotating body 2 for transmitting a torque to the member to be tightened; a single pinion first planetary gear 12 and a first ring gear 11 rotated about the sun gear; a double pinion second planetary gears 22, 23 and a second ring gear 21 rotated about the sun gear; a first claw part 16 for restricting the rotating direction of the first ring gear to one direction; a second claw part 26 for restricting the rotating direction of the second ring gear to the opposite direction; the first handle 10 to which the first claw and the second claw are secured and which is rotatable around the axes of the first ring gear and the second ring gear; and the second handle 20 rotatable integrally with a planetary carrier.
