LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

A liquid crystal display is provided to reduce the reduction of an aperture ratio and compensate the difference of the aperture ratio by forming a protrusion on a light protecting member. A liquid crystal display comprises an upper display panel, a lower display panel, a liquid crystal layer, and a light protection member(220). The lower display panel is placed facing the upper display panel. The liquid crystal layer is formed between the upper and the lower display panel. The light protection member is formed on the upper display panel. The light protection member has a first opening(220a), and a second opening which is different shape of the first opening. Protrusions(221,223) protrude toward the first opening and reduce the area of the first opening.
