<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equally propagate vibrations to the whole soundboard in a keyboard instrument with the soundboard. <P>SOLUTION: A long sideways rectangular soundboard 3 is mounted on a rear face of an electronic piano 1. A plurality of sound ribs 5 are joined to the soundboard 3, and a bridge 8 extended in a two-dimensional direction (for example, as if drawing a S-shaped curve along a diagonal) on the surface of the soundboard 3 is joined to the rear face of the soundboard 3. On both ends of the bridge 8, vibration units for low vibration 9 and 10 are fixed. A musical sound signal generated by a sound source device 21 is supplied to the vibration units 9 and 10, and the vibration at a frequency according to the musical sound signal is propagated to the soundboard 3 via the bridge 8. A vibration unit for middle and high vibration 11 may be directly fixed to the soundboard 3 separately from the vibration units 9 and 10.
