PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decolorizing a polymer, in which coloring of a polymer obtained by a RAFT (reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer) method is reduced to obtain a practically durable polymer. SOLUTION: A polymer synthesized by a RAFT polymerization method is heated in the presence of oxygen so as to be subjected to decolorizing processing. Thereby, coloring of the polymer by a dithioester group in the polymer caused by a RAFT agent used during polymerization can be decreased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
