<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured respiration-linked blower mask device correctly controlling the driving of a blower according to the respiration without being affected by outside light. <P>SOLUTION: An exhalation valve 3 and an inhalation valve 4 are mounted on a face body 2, and the blower 6 for feeding outside air through the inhalation valve 4 into the face body 2 during the normal operation is set in the blower mask device. A cover member 8 is layered on the outside of the face body 2 to cover the exhalation valve 3, and an exhalation chamber 9 is formed of the space between the cover member 8 and the face body 2. A non-optical sensor 10 for detecting the presence of a wearer's exhalation air penetrating through the exhalation valve 3 is set in the vicinity of the exhalation valve 3 inside the exhalation chamber 9. If the wearer's exhalation air is detected via the sensor 10, it is considered that air is being exhaled, and the blower 6 is stopped or decelerated.
