<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely protect a protection object without using a clip, and to smoothly carry out hot line work. <P>SOLUTION: The protective cover includes a cover body 1 formed of an insulation material and surrounding the protection object by engaging it with the inside. The cover body 1 includes a body part 3 having a shape surrounding the protection object, and shape retaining parts 4 formed integrally with at least one end of the body part 3, and retaining the shape of the body part 3 to maintain the surrounding state where the body part 3 surrounds the protection object.
