<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food service wagon with an auxiliary motor-driven function achieving safety traveling while improving operability of braking operation with respect to a mechanical braking means in the food service wagon with the auxiliary motor-driven function self-traveling by driving driving wheels by a driving means. <P>SOLUTION: This food service wagon 1 with the auxiliary motor-driven function self-travels by driving the driving wheels 7, and the braking force of a wheel brake 90 is applied to the driving wheels 7 by operation of a main brake operation section 45 or the like. A spacer member 80 is attached to the main brake operation section 45, thereby the rotational range of a brake bar 46 is limited, and even by a worker having small hands can grip both a main handle 41 and the brake lever 46. A plate rotating shaft 61C to which a cam plate 61 on the side of main operation in a junction box 60 is rotatably journalled is positioned on the side of a wire connecting section 61A to which a brake wire 70 on the side of the main operation is connected rather than a plate center C.
