PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary member support unit that prevents grease from leaking and can stably rotate a rotary member continuously, by installing a slinger which is normally kept in a stationary state with respect to a bearing that supports the rotary member, and enlarging the diameter and the width of the part of the main shaft facing the slinger. SOLUTION: The rotary member support unit is equipped with an erected main shaft 8, bearings 2 and 4, equipped with a stationary ring and a rotating ring, gears G1 and G2 installed on one end of a driving shaft and the main shaft, the rotary member 32 installed on the other end of the main shaft and a case 40 for housing the main shaft, the bearings and the gears. The bearing arranged most adjacent to the rotary member is equipped with the ring-shaped slinger 25, that is stuck fast to the side 12c at the gear side of a stationary ring 12 and is maintained, in a stationary state so as to prevent infiltration of foreign matters to the inside, arranged to have an inner peripheral surface 25a located with a fixed interval L1 to the main shaft and is positioned, in a noncontact manner with a rotary ring 10 and the gears and the opposing part 8d of the main shaft; and the inner peripheral surface of the slinger is enlarged in diameter more toward the inner peripheral surface than the outer periphery of the main shaft.
