摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing prognosis while more adequately determining a degree of malignancy of neoplasm than a conventional method. SOLUTION: The method uses survivin and EGFR as markers for detecting neoplasm, and uses a degree of transfer or development of the survivin and the EGFR into a tissue as an index for detecting the existence of the neoplasm and determining a degree of malignancy of the neoplasm. Herein, the survivin and the EGFR in a neoplasm tissue specimen is subjected to immune tissue chemical dyeing or immune cell chemical dyeing, the ratio of the number of survivin positive cells and the number of EGFR positive cells to the number of total observed cells is measured, and a degree of malignancy of the neoplasm is determined from the value.
