PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impedance measuring apparatus which can measure impedance safely by surely preventing the breakage of an apparatus and measure impedance in a versatile manner. SOLUTION: The impedance measuring apparatus for measuring the impedance of a load apparatus 101 to which power is supplied from a power supply circuit 104 comprises a measuring circuit 105 for measuring the impedance between the terminals connected to a load, a first switch 102 which connects the load apparatus 101 and the power supply circuit 104 and a second switch 103 which connects the load apparatus 101 and the measuring circuit 105, and a controller 106 which controls the switching of the first switch 102 and the second switch 103. The controller 106 detects the interruption of power supply to the load apparatus 101 by the power supply circuit 104, and when the interruption of power supply is detected, the first switch 102 and the second switch 103 are switched.
