摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure manufactured at a low cost and high in flexibility for designing. SOLUTION: The structure of the present invention is provided with a rolling bearing unit 1 for supporting a wheel, and a load measuring instrument 2. The load measuring instrument 2 is provided with an encoder 14 made of a permanent magnet, a pair of sensors 15a, 15b, and a computer. An outer circumferential face of an encoder main body 17 constituting the encoder 14 is magnetically attracted with the same polarity over the whole circumference and the full width. The both sensors 15a, 15b are installed in detecting parts thereof respectively with magnetic detecting elements for changing characteristics in response to changes of a density and a direction of a passing magnetic flux, and the respective detecting parts are opposed both end edge parts in a width-direction, of the outer circumferential face of the encoder main body 17, under a neutral condition. The computer finds a direction and a level of an axial load acting between an outer ring 3 and a hub 4, based on output signals from the both sensors 15a, 15b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
