A method and a device for automatically calibrating a light intensity measurement device is disclosed. The device includes an optical switch for switching a route of output from an optical intensity modulator, an optical attenuator arranged on a first waveguide, a second waveguide, a light intensity measurement device, a control device for receiving light intensity information measured by the light intensity measurement device and controlling the signal to be applied to the optical intensity modulator, and a signal source for receiving a control signal of the control device and adjusting the signal to be applied to the optical intensity modulator.
