The invention relates to a fastening device for a headgear, particularly a protective helmet. Said fastening device is designed such that the fastening action caused by the fastening device is automatically canceled when a predetermined pulling force that acts upon the fastening device is exceeded. The fastening device is designed such that the canceling process of the fastening action when the predetermined pulling force is exceeded is triggered with a certain delay. The invention further relates to a headgear comprising such a fastening device as well as a test apparatus for testing the functionality of such a fastening device. |
