The electrical switching device (10) has a housing lower part (13), which carries a retainer (26), in which a housing upper part (12) is arranged such that the lower part is controlled by an opening (23) of a circuit board (22). Supporting ribs (20) supports switching device on a front side (24) of the circuit board. Connection ends (17) of fixed contacts (15) lie on the front side of the circuit board for contacting with conducting paths. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing switching device at a circuit board.
