A method and a device for displaying digital broadcasting data are provided to move to a preferred channel in real time without additional key manipulation by using a face recognition function when a preferred channel is different per a user. A method for outputting broadcast channel data in a mobile phone comprises the following processes. A face image is extracted from an image input from a camera during a broadcasting mode(S306). An image corresponding to the extracted face image is searched from at least one stored image(S308). A broadcast channel related to the searched image is output(S310).
