<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a structure which can prevent the end of an inner shaft 10 from shifting to a base 15 of a yoke 14 without troubling the connecting work of the end of the inner shaft 10 and the base 15 so as to attain the completeness of protection of a driver at a collision accident. <P>SOLUTION: A locking pin 26 supported by a support plate 27 supported by a bolt 23 for contracting the base 15 is laid across a through hole 25 formed in the base 15 and a locking hole 24 formed in the end of the inner shaft 10. The tip surface of the inner shaft 10 is prevented from abutting on a cross shaft constituting a universal joint together with the yoke 14 at a collision accident, thereby allowing the displacement of the yoke 14 with another yoke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
