<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture-permeable waterproof cloth that is useful for various apparels, such as rain wear, mountaineering wear, sports wear and working wear and exhibits excellent waterproofness and comfortableness. <P>SOLUTION: The moisture-permeable waterproof cloth is the one in which at least one layer of a fiber structure consisting of an ultrafine fiber of an average fiber diameter of 0.01-1 μm is overlaid on a base material and which has a water resistance of ≥50 kPa, a moisture permeability of ≥8,000 g/(m<SP>2</SP>×24 hr) and an air permeability of ≥0.2 cc/(m<SP>2</SP>×s).
