<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present an IC card with an ED display function excellent in character and image printing property by a heat transfer method and having favorable durability. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card with the ED display function has an electron deposition (abbreviated as ED) display unit which has a pair of electrode which produces the dissolution/deposition of a metal on a substrate.
