PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile bearing calculation device which can determine bearings precisely using a terrestrial magnetism sensor, and to provide a bearing correcting method which enables the mobile bearing calculation device to determine the bearings more precisely. SOLUTION: A terrestrial magnetism sensor 158 detecting terrestrial magnetism, a control section 160 calculating a geographical bearing from the detected value of the terrestrial magnetism sensor 158, a display section 155 displaying the geographical bearing calculated by the control section 160 as bearing information, and a casing containing the terrestrial magnetism sensor 158, the control section 160, and the display section 155 are included. Electronic components built in the casing and controlled by the control section 160 are also included. The control section 160 can carry out the processing of a program which changes the behavior of the electronic components, monitors the start or termination of the program processing when displaying the bearing information on the display section 155, and corrects the geographical bearing according to the start or termination of the program processing.
