PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the acoustic performance (silence) by optimizing the vibrating state of an engine-transmission assembly and a front axle gear by achieving the support capable of reducing the weight while reducing a fitting space. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a motor vehicle with an engine/main transmission assembly 1 located in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and the engine is supported by a vehicle body and/or an engine cross member or an axle carrier 10 mounted in the vehicle body via engine consoles 5, and also provided with a front-axle transmission 15 which can be driven by means of the engine/main transmission assembly 1. In a motor vehicle of this type, the front-axle transmission 15 is supported exclusively in the engine/main transmission assembly 1 and connected to at least one of the engine consoles 5.
