PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an administration server, a system and a method, for preventing TV program recording omission, that can record a television program which cannot be watched because the watcher is not staying at home, even when the watcher fails to do a reserving operation for recording the program or the watcher does not pay attention to the reserving operation for recording the program. SOLUTION: The administration server for preventing TV program recording omission is provided with an absence determining means (220), connected to a television program recorder with a recording reservation function via a home electric/electronic information appliance administration apparatus, for determining whether a watcher is staying or not at a place where a television receiver is installed to usually watch a particular television program at the broadcasting time of the same television program and a recording instructing means (230) for instructing the television program recorder with a recording reservation function to record the particular television program when the absence determining means (220) determines that the watcher is not staying at home.
