PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of restraining a pressurizing force from being dispersed when conducting a fixing operation using a compression spring, and an image forming device equipped therewith. SOLUTION: Each bearing member 40 of a press roller 33 pressure-contacting with a fixing roller 28 is attached to a support member 43 via each compression spring 42 as an energizing means and each elastic member 41 arrayed in series in the compression spring 42. The elastic member 41 is fixed by engaging an engaging hole 41a drilled in the central portion with an engaging protrusion 40a projected on a bottom face of the bearing member 40. The compression spring 42 is set in a condition pressure-contacting with the elastic member 41 by engaging its upper end part with the engaging protrusion 40a projected from the elastic member 41, and a lower end thereof is fixed engagedly with a support projected piece 43a formed in the support member 43. A dispersion of an energizing force in the compression spring 42 is moderated by an elastic deformation of the elastic member 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
