PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running toy system capable of making a commercially available imitation toy run in the state of being supported by an attachment on a track member without altering it. SOLUTION: A self-running cart 5 is made to run on the track member 3. The attachment 7 is provided on a base 6A of the running cart 5. The attachment 7 is provided with a plurality of engaging parts 41A-41D to be partially engaged with the non-altered commercially available imitation toy IT and supports the commercially available imitation toy. The attachment 7 is configured so as to change the position relation of the plurality of engaging parts 41A-41D corresponding to the dimension of the commercially available imitation toy.
