PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set contour data relative to image data easily in a short time without deteriorating precision for setting the contour data. SOLUTION: A boundary point specifying part 122 successively specifies a plurality of boundary points to an endocardium and an epicardium in reference image data of a desired heart rate phase selected from time-series image data which is collected by transmitting and receiving ultrasound to and from a subject and is stored in an image data storage part 5. Past contour data extracted from a contour data storage part 6 by a contour data extracting part 7 based on the boundary points and estimated contour data estimated by a contour data estimating part 8 from the boundary points are superimposed on the reference image data and are displayed on a display part 11. Then, a contour data selecting part 123 selects the contour data appropriate for the endocardium and epicardium in the reference image data from the past contour data and estimated contour data displayed by the display part 11 while being updated sequentially with the additional specification of the boundary points and sets the contour data as reference contour data for the reference image data.
