摘要 The excavator with overhanging jib is used for rope actuated scoop. The scoop jib can be moved also longitudinally in addition to rotating movements. The scoop is held so that it is actuated sideways only by relatively high actuating forces. The rope drive has two pulley systems for lifting and lowering of the scoop. The ropes of the system are joined by a guide element (10) for rope compensation and brake (11). The rope drums in the region of the scoop are connected to the scoop by a bracket (8). The axes of the rope drums are at right angles to the scoop shank on the jib and the pivoting axis of the bracket (8) is parallel to the pivoting axle of the scoop shank. The brake arrangement is effective within the narrow range of horizontal movements for stabilising the scoop.
