<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even a small-scale device to properly select an object to be downloaded. <P>SOLUTION: An identification image which is adjacently located to a desired thumbnail image in an index sheet is picked up with a camera 59 of a mobile phone 50, then the identification image is decoded, and identification information of image data 12c corresponding to the thumbnail image is acquired.
